TAGRET
Creative concept, visual identity, and graphic design for the exclusive HUF x KODAK capsule release. The main focus relied on hosting a physical event in Berlin and creating cultural relevance for the HUF brand’s European target group by involving a regional artist and a suitable key partner.
STRATEGY
Having Kodak’s enormous impact and long history for analog photography in mind, I strategically decided to highlight the art of (skateboard) photographer Dennis Scholz, bringing him together with Safelight — Berlin’s special laboratory for analog photography.
CONCEPT
Celebrating the release by inviting Berlin’s analog and skateboard community to the Safelight store for Dennis’ solo exhibition entitled Perfect HELL™ — a photo series shot entirely on Kodak color film in the streets of Berlin.
Alongside the conceptual work and co-curating the exhibition, I was overseeing the art direction and graphic design for the entire visual content, such as the project’s conceptual identity, the exhibition design, and graphic design for a 44-page-strong, printed exhibition catalog as a manifestation of this genuine collaboration.
